Removing a tick from a dog's face

You'd think that knowing it was a tick would be common sense, but you'd be surprised how many people spend HOURS trying to yank their dog's nipple off (especially when it's a male dog and a particularly small nipple). Poor tortured doggie! (Envision all the tick removal approaches - )

By now you should have it off. But in the future, take a cotton ball and soak it with liquid soap. But the cotton ball over the tick, and wait a few minutes. The tick will come off in the cotton ball.

Actually, we still haven't been able to get it. He just won't hold still for us to do any of the tricks. I will try the soap thing and see what happens. I guess eventually, they drop off, right?
