Removing a guest from Ressie

When I originally planned this trip, it was going to be me, my boyfriend, and my parents. Unfortunately, my father lost his job this summer, and we had to change some plans. My mom is still going, but my dad needed to stay back, in case he got some job offers that wanted to interview (he now has a job starting in Jan, but is looking for a better option, and they still need to save money). We thought he would get to come a few weeks ago when he found out about the job, but airfare is too much now. He's a bit bummed, but we are all going again in February, so that makes it bearable for him (and us).

We leave a week from today. I'm not penalized for removing a guest, am I? Even this close to the trip? I've changed guests long before trips come, but never this close. The worst that can happen is I check in and he's still on the reservation without being there. Not like that changes anything since there isn't a per-adult charge like with regular Disney reservations.

Thanks for your input!

If your doing the dining plan your going to want to be sure to actually remove him. If your not doing the plan you can just update them at checkin, no big deal.

No dining plan, but thanks for the info. I'll remember that if I ever book the dining plan.

There will be no charge and for future reference, if you don't want to call, you can e-mail member services through the DVC member web-site, Contact Us. with these changes and they will e-mail you a response and the changes they've made!

I book a year out, a 2 bd , we take 5-6 people with us, so as we get closer, I e-mail MS with the final names of the people who are actually coming, that way the cards are correct and we have no excess or better yet no one's missing!
