My guess? The original post (now removed) is one where the OP thought she would get all kinds of sympathy, and she embellished the facts to try to play up the sympathy. She didn't get the responses she thought she thought she would and instead of letting the thread die, removed the post thinking people would stop looking at the thread and wanted to put a dig in at Alamo again.

I feel pretty safe that we won't be hearing from the OP in this thread again.

I think you are on the right track...

I do agree. Also, I doubt Alamo would write a nasty letter, they don't want to lose customers, if anything, I would think it would be an " We are sorry you encountered................" type of letter. The OP's post reeks of male bovine fecal matter.

Has anyone ever told the OP the best way to get a thread read is to change the title to something like "Removed post"?

My first thought, as I never would have read a thread about a rental car company since I don't drive. But now I've read this, and since she was quoted, read the OP too.

Really? Alamo monitors the Dis boards?:lmao:

A good public relations person monitors their company/client reputation online. The #1 Disney Message Board on the planet is definitely worth monitoring.

Sadly, if it's a negative answer, it appears that it wouldn't be a good public relations person, but an asinine Alamo manager.
