I am staining my kitchen cabinets and up until this point I have gone through all this effort to get suited up in junky clothes before starting. I haven't ever gotten any stain on my clothes so this evening I decided to pass up the clothes change and loe and behold, I got some stain on my clothes. Darn it! Any ideas on how to get it out?

Thanks!

As a woodworker, I'm here to tell you that, short of using acetone or low-odor mineral spirits, your chance of getting the stain out of your clothing is next to zero.

As the wife of a woodworker, I will second the previous poster. DH has been staining, shellacking and waxing his handbuilt cherry library for the past month and a half.

Let's just say, his wardrobe now blends in perfectly with the room - if he stands against the wall, you can't see him. Those stains ain't never comin' out!:rotfl:
