Removal of Window Blinds

We will be staying at FQ for the first time this summer. We have stayed at POR before and loved how dark the room was in the morning with both the window blinds and the curtains. Since the room refurbs they have removed the blinds. Has anyone noticed if the rooms are now brighter without the blinds?

While it's a different resort, Pop Century has always only had blackout curtains and they keep the room very dark. Maybe this is the case with these curtains.

I have read that some people bring clips to keep curtains close tightly. We actually like to have a little light come into the room in the mornings

It is dark. The blackout curtains work and we had zero light coming in.

We didn’t notice any light and didn’t use clips last month.

Thanks for all the advice! I have my clips all packed....now I just heard there are built in nightlights in the outlet??? Can you turn it off???

I think you may be looking for things to worry about. I don’t remember a built in night light, and, as I said, no light was getting in without clips. Try to enjoy the anticipation! I think you’re going to have a great trip.

I just asked DH and he doesn’t recall a nightlight either. He said maybe in the bathroom, but not an issue. He also felt like the curtains were good coverage, with no gaps.
