This is to remind everyone that codes NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC (such as AAA codes and postcards) are NOT to be posted on the board. If you post a code, the code will either be removed or the post deleted.

How does a person find out if there is even a AAA code available? I understand that postcard/e-mail codes can't be posted, but AAA is available to anyone with the card, right? Or can I just call CRO and ask for the AAA rate?

This is new to me because normally I have an AP (but won't for this trip) so I'm having to learn about different codes now.

I have a question about why AAA codes cannot be posted here. I do not mean to be confrontational in any way. I totally understand about not posting PIN codes. But I feel that AAA and AP are very similar in that anyone in the public can pay and have these options available to them. So, why are they treated differently?

wondering the same..I have AAA..but never booked with them before..have used the AAA discount when I've called Central Reservations and booked if they had a AAA discount they would apply it..only turned out to be about 10 percent. Is that how AAA is applied...wasn't aware they had their own specific codes offered..

I guess I'm curious too. I was actually just signing on to say that AAA discount wasn't avail for my ressie. But everyone AAA member or not pretty much knows that AAA offers discounts. Why is talking about them taboo?

I must have missed something but is there a post that you are referring to? I don't remember seeing anything removed because there was information about AAA rates.

I believe we are ..or at least I am refering the very post in the thread..which was a reminder that AAA and postcard pin discounts are not to posted. We are wondering why AAA was mentioned as it is a public code available to anyone with a AAA membership. You cannot book without it as you need the membership number from your card.

Hi - This is my first post. We are planning a family trip to Disney in October of 2007, and I am already excitedly gathering information!

My question is regarding the AAA discount that you mentioned. We are not currently AAA members, but would definiately join if there is a substantial savings. How much did you guys save on your trip? Does it depend on the resort that you are planning on staying at? We are going to stay at the Polynesian.

I saved $256 on a Deluxe in July- -depends on when are going and where you are staying -more savings at Deluxe resprts.
