BLT, OKW and AKV (except the value category) all have the sleep chair in the living room and officially sleep 5. I can't remember if the VGF has the sleep chair or not. I know you can officially sleep 5 in the VGF studios, though.
All of the WDW DVC resorts (except AKV value) will accept 5 in a one bedroom, but other than the ones listed above, you must provide a bed and linens and towels for the 5th person yourself.
VGF have a pull down bed in both the studio and the 1 bedroom- not the chair but still have bed space for 5. There is not however a pull down bed in the livng room of a dedicated 2 bedroom which is why the dedicated 2 bedrooms sleep 9 and the lock-offs sleep 10.
"One-bedroom villas will boast much more room and be approximately 844 sq. feet. They will feature one king-size bed in a separate master bedroom complete with chair and desk, a queen-size sleeper sofa and pull-down child’s bunk bed in the living room, and a full kitchen. The latter will have granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including a panelized refrigerator and dishwasher, and a farmhouse-style sink bordered by backsplash ceramic tiles.""
Not happy with our contact at DVC right now. We purchased enough points for a one bedroom value based on it accommodating 5. So now I need to buy more points - nice!
Does anyone know the length of the pull down bed in VGF (and the studios where it's been added)? Just curious how long this will work for our kids. Thanks!

It's unfortunate you weren't aware of the occupancy restriction on the Value rooms. They are 3 feet shorter than the non-Value rooms at Jambo House so there just isn't enough room for a fifth adult. I think you can have four adults, plus a child under 3 years of age in the pack and play, but they have never allowed five guests who are age three and older in a Value 1BR.

Not knowing the specifics of what you bought, how often you planned to go and what time of the year you normally travel you should keep in mind that there are other options rather than buying more points. You can borrow to make up points that you may be short - probably for a few years before you would need to refill the pot with a transfer or something like that or else rent from another member, or skip a year with DVC and either visit some other place or do a CRO reservation. And there is also the option to purchase up to 24 one time use points from DVC every year at 7 months out. If AKV is where you bought to stay then the standard view 1BR's are usually available at 7 months so that could be a workable option.
Or - transfer in points periodically from another member.
Also, if you bought within the past 10 days directly from DVC you can get the contract changed or rescind the purchase. There are only 10 1BR value rooms at AKV and even if the occupancy were 5 it would be a bit risky to be relying on always getting that room type.
