I know for some of you it has been a while.

One of my first posts here was in regards to a cat question about declawing. It was something DH and I were considering at the time and I wanted others advice. Boy, did I get it and then some! Now I know what a hot topic that can be.

So do you remember your first time posting on the Community board?


BTW, Luxor and Rio both still have their claws but DH's speakers are now ruined!

I can remember becoming a veteran (75 posts) and I can remember the first time one of my threads went over 1 page (a thread on the 1964 Worlds Fair), but I cant remember my first posts. I do remember that my very first posts got 0 responses and sank like a stone (LOL). It took me a while to figure out what sort of topics work well on the DIS.

Its been a long time. Its hard to beleive I've been here nearly 6 years.

Yes I remember my first post.

I had read a thread where the op very strongly did not like the Backstage Magic Tour, so I registered that day and started a thread about how much dh and I very much liked the tour and that we highly recommend it. Now whenever I see a post asking about tours, I always recommend the Backstage Magic Tour.

Someone was not nice to me the very first time I posted. Won't go into it but the thread was short. With all the upgrades it's not even around anymore. I don't even go by the same name. I can't remember my first post under my current name.

My first post on the DIS ( 6 years ago this January) had to do with me asking about the All Stars. The DISer that answered me, I have now met twice at Disney and we e-mail all the time.

My first post ever was on the Theme Parks board I think. I have no idea what it was about though. I didn't discover the CB until several months later. I don't remember my first post here either.
