the Travel Channel actually showed places to travel to and not just people eating bizarre stuff? Ah those were the days.

Are you watching it now? Andrew (bizarre foods guy) is in Turkey, it's pretty cool. He was showing these cave houses they live in and then he was just at a public bath and now he's on some river cruise. I haven't seen him eat any bizarre foods yet.

My DH and I were just talking about this today. All stinkin night is Bizarre Foods.:sad2: Now, we refer to it as Food Network 2.

I would rather see the Disney re-runs than episodes of Donut Paradise over and over.

I told DH I would love to see a series that showed how to do the same vacation destination on different budgets. You could show one couple doing the fancy schmancy vacation, one doing a scaled back version and one doing a budget trip. Show how every destination can be affordable.

That would be a show I would watch. I do miss the actual travel shows,

They don't even show Samantha Brown! Oh well, what do I know I'm just a viewer.

I miss Samantha Brown. Just the other night they were showing some great cruise show and I was all excited that it was actually a TRAVEL show when I checked the date and it was years old. Darnit.

It used to be one of my favorite channels.

I love The Travel Channel but I have almost reached my limit of reruns. I know the shows must be expensive to produce but I just don't think I can watch any more reruns of the national park shows or the Alaska ones, either.

I like Samantha Brown and Anthony Bourdain, and at least they are producing new ones - but then we will watch each one about a thousand times during the off-season.

I'd even like to see the whole series of Great Hotels or Girl Meets Hawaii again, as long as I don't have to watch Florida's Top 10 Beaches for a while.

I remember being so excited to get Travel Channel when we upgraded to digital cable. Lo and behold, with the exception of any Disney programs, I haven't really watched it. I'm so not into watching people eat pig rectums and such.

I pretty much gave up on the Travel Channel when they started showing non-stop episodes of World Poker Tour. BORING!

For real!!
I turn it there every so often in hopes that I'll seee something cool, like DisneY! I also like Samantha Browns short trips...she gets to drink...lucky gal. LOL

But, it always seems to be Bizarre Foods.....
blah
