Remember to haunted masion event gift letter we got well guess what.?

As the people that went to the event know from the letter they got Disney is sending us a nice pin to make up for the plastic cup we got as a gift.

So today I got this from a friend on the inside.

It concerns the pin we are getting and dont hold me to it its just what he heard its not 100% gospel.

It is going to be approximately a 2 inch pin that will be a pin version of the resin sculpture we recieved as a gift. It will be the gravestone with the Raven and the hand. They haven't decided on a final production version yet and the hand may be a slider from what I was told. It will come to us in a Coffin box supposedly.

Something to look forward to huh. just thought I'd share the good news.

I hate to say this but... I think Disney is making a mistake here.... I am sorry but thos that went to the event and are mad at getting a "Plastic Cup" as a gift... What about the resin statue?

I am pretty sure this was also a free gift. Now I didn't go and I sure wish I had as this was designed by Randy Knoble and I would love to have this in my collection... And it is LE 1200... Wow what a great FREE gift.

But no.... That was not enough so they also gave everyone a free little plastic cup... Yup that was the mistake. They GAVE TOO MUCH!!! And now they are going to give more.

The mistake that Disney made... Is the gift of the resin statue should have been given at the end of the event or when you left for the night. Instead they gave it to you in the begining.


When we complain and Disney has given us pleaty to complain about at events we must make sure all the facts are in place....

The Cup was just one thing they gave... It was not ment to be anything other than a little extra something...

I am sorry... I don't think Disney owes anything for this...

But I do think they should give everyone who was unhappy with the free gifts a pin... As soon as they return the FREE GIFTS...

I had no idea they gave the statue...all I heard about was the plastic cup...you're right Nat, if they had given the statue as an exit gift, there may have been less complaining.

My comment was in reference to them giving a pin as an apology...they did it after the 2002 Sept event for example. I have jokingly mentioned to people that I wonder when the cruise event participants will get a letter announcing a special pin to make up for the lines, etc on the cruise....a pin doesn't make up for lost time...

Some people paid plenty for that statue don’t forget the cost o admission to get the honor of buying more stuff.

I for one like the plastic cup, but the event was not as hot as I was told the last one was.

You may be right they gave too much, and they may be giving it just as a sorry for the fact that the food was cold or whatever.

I had a good time as I always do, but a lot of people did not, and this may be just Disney way to give us just one more thing just because.

Thank you though for standing up for corporate it has been acknowledged but we would like you to know your still not getting the position vacated by Roy Disney. Sorry better luck next time.

I think the pin is being sent out because of all the complaints about how bad the MK event was.

I have been both years, and believe me, there was quite a difference between the two. If I hadn't paid for the more expensive Gus package, I would have been very disappointed.

The MK event was disorganized, the food was awful, the way it was presented was terrible, none of the CM's working the event could answer any questions - I could go on and on. I liked one person's comment - it looked as though event services woke up that morning and realized they had an event to stage that night.

Last year, the event was well organized, the food was great, the food was well presented, and the CM's working the event were well informed as to what was going on.

I believe they realize mistakes were made and this is there way of atoning for them.

package. However, we attended the Gus package, and it was only because we did that we really enjoyed the event. Otherwise, had we done only EZRA, we would not be going back. I also attended last year's event, and the Gus package was well worth the extra money, even if the hotel was nothing to write home about. It was convenient, but had we not gotten the group rate for our stay, would not have been worth $134+ a night.

Gee Disney made another, I mean a blunder and they are giving free pins as settlements; I mean as sincere tokens of their errant ways!!!!!!
Remember, if you accept the pin you give up all rights to any further legal action!!!!!!
Get Roy on the phone, I'm sure he'll have something to say about this........It's all Eisner's fault I'm sure of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I have a good way to remedy the mistakes they make at the events and the "free" stuff they have to send you all when they make mistakes.
Take up a collection and send me to the event.
I have been to quite a few events over the past 2 years. It seems that the ones I DON'T attend are the ones that Disney has problems with. So, it just goes to show you, I am their good luck charm.
But I can't afford to attend all the events, so if you want everything to run smoothly just take up a collection and send me.
