I'm happy to report that the man charged with the crime is back in jail. The district attorney asked that his bail be reconsidered, and the judge reset it at $250,000 -- up from $40,000. I still don't think it's high enough given that you only really have to have 10%. If he manages to post the bond, he has a number of restrictions, including that he is not allowed to come into the county except for proceedings related to his case.

I hope this lowlife does get life in prison. Oh boy will the guys love him there - just maybe he'll get a dose of what he gave to that poor innocent kid(s).

He deserves worse than that. But I'm glad they're giving him that.
