I just heard on the news that those adults involved her finally charged. Thought you guys might like to know, even though it's kind of an old story. I know a lot of you were hoping those people would be charged with something.

Finally! Geez there are sooo many things I could say about this incident [and it's not pretty].

Frak. The article makes it sound like that witch is going to get off with no serious punishment or anything. Unless I'm reading it wrong, which would be great, because the thought of those people getting anything like lenience sickens me. Please tell me I'm wrong.

I personally think she should be charged with murder, but hey. A little punishment is better than none at all.

If she is charged with murder, it should be a lesser degree. I think she should be charged with playing a part in her death for sure though. So sad.

I think she should get charged with manslaughter.
Was it intentional? Probably not.

But a full-grown woman calling a self-concious thirteen-year-old girl ugly and telling her that no boy will ever like her is looking to actively harm her on an emotional level, and deserves to pay the consequences.
It still gets me sick to think about it.
