Remember Levi's shrink-to-fits?

My sister had them in the '80s. I think I may have even had some. Did you? What a bizarre concept . Shrinky dink jeans. Maybe it was how jeans originally came back in the early days of Levi's .

I googled them and it looks like maybe you can still buy them http://www.levisstore.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2076855 . I like knowing how my pants are going to fit before I buy and wash them. Anyone still buy these??

I saw some show that had two girls try that style of jeans on in the store. Then they sat in a pool of water in the store! It was bizzare. It looked like the store had a drying booths. (It was one of those clothing shows, kind of, "What Not To Wear".) They came out after the jeans had dried and raved about how good they fit. Why go through all that when you can just buy them to fit from the get go?

I had never heard of them before seeing that show. That would not be for me!

I remember getting some in the late 70's early 80's that were really stiff till you washed them..... then the bell bottom ones were in style for a while, calvin, gloria v., there was another brand we all got too?? can't recall......lol

I LOVED my Calvin Klein jeans. I also had Gloria Vanderbilt jeans (I loved that little embroidered swan. lol)

What a trip down memory lane...lol... Remember "Sergio Valente" jeans?? LOL "Zena"??
