Remember the Boogedy movie?
I posted something about this a few days ago on the wrong board.. and then tried to move it..
Any way, my DH and I and the kids loved them. They came out in 1986 for Boogedy, and then the 2nd one was after 87. I was told the 2nd one was called Bride of Boogedy, but DH says, NO, it is Return of Boogedy.
Ice Cream is riding on the correct title...

Any way, I had a taped copy of both and the tapes are worn totally out. Any idea if Disney ever made them available for sale? They were some of the first Disney made for Halloween movies for the Disney Channel. Several posters on the old thread also loved them, but no one knew if it was ever available. One did find an pirate VHS on ebay. I don't want to get it that way. But I am getting desperate. My poor 14 yo DS has been deprived of this movie. He only knows of the Halloween Town movies....

And just how many Halloween made for Disney channel movies are there? I can think of one that had a Grandpa that was a ghost and exploding pumpkins. And there was Hocus Pocus, main screen. Then there was one with the creature under the bed, and one with a Mummy?

I am thinking that there are at least 10 different movies. Anyone got a list?

My 20-something DD's were just talking about those movies last weekend. We looked through our old VHS tapes and were only able to find the second one - Bride of Boogedy. They were so disappointed that we couldn't find the first one Boogedy. Hope they play on TV again or are put out on DVD.

LMAO for some odd reason this comes up every once in awhile in conversation.... Boogedy. I remember at some point he's going Boogedy JUST kidding...

Found both movies on eBay, and I can't tell if they are pirate copies or not. I didn't think the movies were ever released for sale? I want them but just can't bring my self to buy a pirate copy. I know, dumb, but there ya go...

DH and I both have done a few searchs online to try and find if they were ever legaly for sale, and if they might ever be for sale.

There must be a ton of Movies Disney has done that are in the vault that people want, wish they had a service that would burn them to CD and sell them.. or let you down load them for a small price and play them only once, or something!

I did a quick check of the Internet Movie Database and found links to information about Mr. Boogedy and Bride of Boogedy. Unfortunately according to IMDB, neither has ever been officially released on VHS (or DVD for that matter). Ebay is probably your best bet. You might also try a site that is mentioned on IMDB, http://www.videoaddicts.com/disney.htm
