Yes, I did.

First of all, don't expect too much. It is what it is. It's a person with a very good camera, covering every square inch of WDW (or close too it) for you to see. Some rides are too dark(which means they did not use lights that annoy every other guest they rode with), some rides are too wobbly. But they are all there for you to enjoy. The content is amazing, but the quality is what one should expect, and perhaps a bit better.

Here is how I think of it. I have tried many times to bring a camcorder to WDW and tape the things I love. Have you? It is annoying, time consuming, and I generally only have the stamina to get the highlights. If you have also tried this and failed, this set is for you. If you have thought about trying it, save yourself the aggrevation and get this set. They have just about everything you would want to see, with only a few exceptions.

Now, go to disneyworldtrivia.com. It is Lou Mongello's site, the author of the terrific Disney World Trivia book. He has a 10% discount code on there and also a well written review.

There is a guy on ebay (ID: disneydomain) that has a 20 disc set for around 45$ (it seems to have gone up around 10$ over the last month) I always wondered if this was a good set...

anyone have any experience with that?

Actually there are a few people over there that sell theme park dvds...I just keep thinking...I can do this myself...why buy them...

and yet, it never gets done!! lol :confused3

My kids just received these for Easter. I think for amateur video they are pretty well done. I was a bit disappointed that Splash Mountain was not included. My kids really enjoy watching them (they are 4 and 6.) I purchased them when they were $37.95 and I have seen him go as low as $34.95 for the sets.

Haygan, Does it include the old Enchanted Tiki Room or is the "New and Improved" version?

I think the reason Splash Mountain wouldn't be included would be the risk of getting the camera wet?

It's so neat that your kids like them :) I think I'd be the only one watching them around here...but I'm certifiable. I went the year WDW opened, and every year after until 1980, when we moved to So. Cal, where I went constantly...even had Grad Night there...

But you know...when a trip is in the making now, it's DH and DS who are dragging out the "plan your trip" DVD's and are obsessing. I think these might be worth a go?! I must be doing something right! (Insert evil grin smiley here!)

Thank you for the review...sorry about the rambling! lol...

If I remember correctly, I recorded Splash Mountain when it first opened. Now I gotta find where it is.

I bought these as an Easter presant to myself. :goodvibes Splash Mountain is on them, :confused3 I just watched it the other day. It is well worth the money, for me anyway, since I only get, at most, one trip to Disney a year. The content is wonderful, and the quality for the shows and parades for the most part is great, while, as a previous poster said, was a little dark during some of the rides. Space Mountain, I found, was the worst one. The sound though is pretty good. Some parts are a little shaky, but nothing to bad. I just watched Flights of Wonder, the bird show in AK, this morning, and that was excellant. I'll definatly get my money's worth out of the set.

I just received these the other day from Relive The Magic... Not worth 150 bucks as the website advertises... However, I received a coupon from them for 50 bucks off.. so i ordered the DVDs.. Since it took forever to process my order, them reduced the price another 50 bucks. So i got them for 49.... From what I watched yesterday, the quality is good.. Yes, the dark rides are dark.. Would be dark if you filmed your own sice you cannot use lights in the ride... I am grateful for this collection because I tried to video everything and failed miserably.. Now I don't have to. Splash Mountain is on mine as well, watched it last night. Tiki Birds is the new version... I love how they include the Osbourne Lights on there...

I don't know about the Relive the Magic dvd's but Splash Mountain is not in the 20 dvd set offered by disneydomain on ebay that *Robin* was referring to. Believe me we have gone through the entire set and no Splash Mountian to be found :sad2:

I'm a little late with this, because we waited to get the discs as birthday presents. I wrote a longer reviewhere , but the short version is this:

I'm glad to have them for the thrill of seeing bits and pieces of the parks but the camerawork is very shaky and many of the rides should have just been left off.

Also, it is very important to know that these were mostly filmed during Christmas, so the parks have all their holiday decorations up and places like Wilderness Lodge and Hollywood Blvd have replaced their regular soundtrack with seasonal music.

In my opinion these are good, but not worth the price on the site. I think $65-$75 plus shipping is more the true value of the package. I'd pay more if the camera work weren't so choppy.

I did notice the Christmas theme.. Not that I mind because I cannot get to WDW during Christmas time... I watched more of the DVDs since getting a new DVD player.. I do enjoy watching these DVDs.. I agree.. 150 bucks is too expensive for the set... But, as I noted, I only got mine for 49 bucks...

It's been two years, so I hate to dig up this post, but I just saw that the DVD set was marked down to $8 with free shipping.

I keep thinking that there MUST be a catch, since folks were paying about $150 two years ago.

Anyone get in on this deal lately? Any more recent reviews?

Just bought it myself today. Got 2 sets (one for friend) and also came with a $29 gift code. Hoping for the best, but not too made if they are bad for 18.00 for 2 sets.

Anyone have anymore info on these? They are having a special for $14 for the entire set!

Can I assume that the DVDs contain the same footage they did 2-3 yrs ago? Has anyone recently ordered these? I'm seeing them as $9 today. Plus the $25 gift card. Can anyone confirm that the $25 gift card is probably only good towards something on the site? Thanks.

I bought these the other day for $9 looked yesterday and they were down to $6 i havent recieved them yet but i will let u know what i think when i have.
