I hope so. They might be making small changes, but it is still terribly old fashioned.

I really do believe in God. Bit I don't think that you have to be part of an organized group to practice religion. This is of course going against my many years of Catholic School. But it is my views.

Especially with the Russian Catholics, they're worshiping tactics are old.

I honestly think that God will accept me even if I don't worship regularly. He knows I believe, and have trust in him.

Their tradtions. The way they do things, it just doesn't fit with me.

I'm really quite curious though. What are some of the tradition Russian Catholics take part in that Roman Catholics don't?

I don't know much about Roman Catholics. I have not studied it in detail and their traditions. I don't know if Romans do this but every Friday my Grandparents eat fish because it is said to purify your body for God.

I just couldn't do this...

It is hard to explain, I probably sound really stupid right now.

Don't worry, you don't.

There are some pretty hardcore Roman Catholics that don't eat meat every Friday. My family only practices this during lent, though.

Not many Russian Catholic churches remain in Russia. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, a few decided to come back out. But only a few actually remain.

How did you begin believing in this religion? I was actually baptised Roman Catholic and went through all the confirmations and stuff. (My family is Catholic obviously). Then one day I just came to the conclusion I was being "forced" to practise it, but I didn't really believe in it. And I was never taught about other religions(very hick town). So I did some thinking and research.
Do you regularly attend a "place of worship"? No, but I go to memorial masses monthly at a Catholic church.
