Hi,
We are looking for a reliable Towncar Service to take us from the
Airport to Hotel - Ship to Airport.
Last year we used the one Recomended on WDW site, I forget the name, just as well because they forgot us.
Then when we called they said they were 10 minutes away. 40 minutes later we called a cab.
I just remembered it was Tiffany's Towncar. (Avoid them!!!)
Anyway looking for another recommedation.
Thanks

Oh my gosh! That is soo horrible! I'm sorry that you had to go through that. The transportation part of vacation is always so stressful for me.... Getting out of the house and to the airport on time (not forgetting any luggage!!). Landing and collecting all your luggage and getting to the ship or hotel. I can't imagine being forgotten at the airport!!

Well, anyway.... We have used Tiffany Towncar the last 3 times without incident. We scheduled on line about 3 months in advance and used our Passporter discount coupon. I called to confirm 30 days out and again the day before.

Our driver was courteous and very friendly. He stopped at the grocery store and showed Scooby Doo reruns for our kids. He was terrific. We had a different driver take us back to the airport and he was also timely and very friendly.

Sorry I don't have any other company to recommend to you. I can certainly understand your hesitation about using them again.

That's really disappointing to hear, as I was all prepared to recommend Tiffany. We've used them more times than I could count, at least a dozen by now, and honestly they've never missed their appointment, infact have usually been early. Mind you they are individual drivers, maybe you just got a bad one that time.

The only other one I'd recommend is Happy Limo, as I've read good things about them here. You could also try the new one that's being touted here, FL Tours, I'm sure they're ready to make a good impression. They have a link in the discount box on the DIS Discussion Forums page.

We had good luck with Tiffany, but had the same thing happen to us with Cartier (except our driver showed up just as we were ready to get in a cab). I think all towncar services have the occational screw up (but I won't give Cartier my business again - so I'd understand if you wouldn't work with Tiffany).

FLTours sponsors this site and has had a pretty good reputation. Barb uses Happy Limo successfully. The transportation board almost always has a thread on this.

Disney transfers (if you switch your hotel to one near MCO instead of the port), would be very low stress. You know they have buses running constantly, no chance of getting left behind! I suspect we will consider that next time - we weren't thrilled staying out at the port - although our dining mates took the bus and weren't thrilled with that either. I'm trying to talk hubby into renting a car - the port was a lot easier to get to than we thought.

We too had a simular problem with Tiffany when we went to WDW. I booked them because they were recommended by the WDW Passporter book. We had no problem with our arrival. The driver was more than friendly and helpful when we found our luggage was lost. On our way to the resort she told us she would also be doing our return trip. The day of our departure was a different story. We waited outside the resort for over an hour for our town car. The resort and myself both attempted to call and all we got was an answering machine. After another 15 minutes a Tiffany town car arrived. To our surprise it wasn't for us. I spoke to the driver and he immediately called the office. Finally almost two hours of waiting we finally had a car arrive to take us to the airport. We were late to the airport and my children were not able to eat before our flight because of the mess up. No one from Tiffany ever explained or ever contacted me with an apology. I am very dissappointed with them because of this and would never use them again.

We used FL Tours on our last WDW vacation in December. Found them to be very reliable, courteous and well-priced. I will use them for our cruise, if we decide to use a town car.
Hope this helps.

We just used Happy Limo on our cruise in Febuary and had a GREAT exprience with them. On our way back we were to have a town car pick us up and they showed up in a stretch. The driver was very nice and we had the same driver both ways. Hope this helps. Joni :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We always use Happy Limo and have gotten great service. Like Joni, we've even been upgraded to the stretch too! Usually it's a towncar because it's just hubby and I. We'll be using them again for our easter cruise.

We have always preferred to use FL Tours for our transportation. Andy is a wonderful guy who will see to it you are taken care of.

FL Tours is the official transportation company of the DIS and by using them we are supporting these boards. I know that I would be lost when it comes to my Disney planning without these boards.
