I have a 4-day cruise on hold as of this morning. Ended up taking a different cruise itinerary, but I can't find a way to release the original cruise. It will expire on the 30th, but I'd rather just let it go and let somebody else have it. Is there a way to release it without calling? I can't figure out how.

Did you try the chat feature on the website?

I tried to release a cruise I’d put on hold last year and couldn’t figure it out. Asked on chat and was told there’s no way to do it; that it just auto-releases on the stated date.

I felt bad holding a room when I knew I didn’t need it anymore but I thought about it some more and I suspect they do it this way to prevent people from trying to save rooms for friend when you’re gold but they’re only silver, or something like that.

I guess it will take care of itself then. I just didn't want to hold a room somebody else could take.

there is not a way to do it on the website; you have to call in and ask to cancel the hold. if you dont want to do that, it will auto cancel on the expiration date
