OK....you are not going to believe it but SWA just dropped their fares and had $79 flights out of Philly on 9/11. How could I resist that? $118 for the Sunday flight versus $79 for the Saturday flight. I hate to miss a soccer game, but I can't pass up a $79 flight.

Now the bummer is that you decided to go home early, so we are right back were we started from. I think you need to stay longer again!!!!! Just sayin'

Did everyone see that awesome Southwest Sale today?

Know what that means?

I changed our dates...........AGAIN.



I'm grumpy about but I did it for the simple fact that by changing our dates I could save us $240!! You can't pass up a savings of $240. At least not in the LL household.

The good news: I was able to switch our dates to Wednesday September 8 - Wednesday September 15 and still use our pin code discount.

The discounted rates were only good for flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. $69 each way! That is remarkable. I've never gotten that cheap of a flight from Southwest. That's down from $129. I was able to buy our return flights with the credit I had from our arrival flights and only have to put in an extra $40. I still need to pay for early bird check in which will be another $20.

I also didn't have to change my vacation dates at work since I have the two weeks off, it fit in nicely.

I get to add a DIS meet. She's very excited, so am I. I'll make sure she smiles in our DIS meet photo.

The bad news: I canceled the Le Cellier ADR for no good reason on the 9th. Sigh. I was too quick to cancel.

I'm going to miss three classes. But for $240 I will make it work. My attendance will still meet the school criteria so I will just have to work extra hard before I leave and when I return. The class I will be missing is Ethics, I'm very ethical I think I'll do just fine.

My perfect itinerary is BUH BYE. I haven't even started working on the next one. You know why? I'm sick and tired of making itineraries. I almost just want to WING it. But I need some ADRs which necessitates planning days. I'm not quite enough to wing it completely. Maybe I'll work on it tonight, maybe I won't.

The slightly annoying news: Our trip is more in the middle of my 2 week vacation which I'm not crazy about. I liked having more than a full week when we get home. Oh well. I'm missing a Saturday class, that is a silver lining.

I have to reschedule my meet with Leisa for like the 1,000th time. Sorry Leisa! Brook, I think we might be fine but not 100% sure yet. Jennifer48, are you still going to be there those dates? I can't remember. I don't think I'm forgetting anyone. If I am...I apologize. Worked was awful today trying to catch up and I'm exhausted.

I don't even think I'm going to post my revised itinerary if I make one. I think it's jinxed at this point.

So we are at 49 days...again.

How do you keep up with yourself let alone the changing airfares. Actually, now that you pointed it out, I'm thinking about changing my October dates I totally get what you mean with the itineraries. After a while with so many changes you just want to throw your hands in the air and say "SOMEBODY ELSE ORGANIZE THIS TRIP!" but remember, planning is the second best part to a Disney trip. The best part is of course going to Disney.

We are arriving on the 11th around 3pm and staying at POFQ. No plans for that night since we just decided to arrive early. So - wide open there.

We have a dinner ADR on the 12th at The Wave since we are moving to BLT. Have no idea what park yet since we just decided to arrive early, so that day is wide open. Probably MK in the evening.

13th - Our evening ADR is at Epcot - the Garden Grill, so we will definitely be there in the evening. ? am - haven't decided.

14th - Epcot daytime with a lunch ADR at LeCellier and MNSSHP that evening.

15th - Yak & Yeti and AKL in the evening.

AS you can see our plans are pretty lose and based on ADR's and MNSSHP. We where just going to fill in the daytime parks where-ever, so I am open for whatever works for you. Because we are staying at BLT I am sure we will go heavy on MK and take advantage of walking there. Can't wait for that.

I don't blame you for picking park hoppers over the party. It really increases your flexibility. I have to get a new AP this trip, so my OOP expenses are going to be high. I have a one day ticket from last year's free dining that I may upgrade or I may use some AAA rebates and buy the ticket there and upgrade. I'll do whatever is most cost effective.

$69 is sooooooooooo great for your flights. I didn't even check Baltimore for this trip because I want Denny to drop me off and pick me up at the airport. I don't want to pay for parking. I wonder how cheap they are.

Okay I'm caught up, but I cheated and read the chapters. I really tried reading everything and even got as far as page 25, but at that rate I would catch up about the time you left.

Boy what a roller coaster. So many changes, but in the end it looks like you got the best deal.

I really hope you're able to pick up another Le Cellier. I've only eaten there once but I would love to go back.

I love it. From here it's just not an option to change dates and actually SAVE so seeing others get it, is fabulous!

Winging it, is not a bad thing at all. A few things in your back pocket is nice but overall, it can be freeing!

What FUN meets you have planned and yes, make sure smiles happen AND are caught on film. I'm confident she smiles, a lot, just not for the camera!

Woo-hoo on saving so much money!!!!! That is awesome!

It's kinda fun just having a loose outline and winging it. I've gotten used to it since that is what Joe prefers. Just know your basics and go from there!

Sounds good on the meet, on the 8th we'll be at DHS and the 9th we leave, but not until 3 or 4 pm, so we are up for whatever that day. Let me know if something works for you!

240 $ less is great and definitely worth it to change your dates! You did the right thing!

I just had a look at the touringplans crowd calendar and during your stay they predict more or less no crowds at all. So this might be really the time of the year when winging it can be done - especially if you have parkhoppers and can just hop to another parks if crowds annoy you.

Wouldn't it be worth it for you to get an AP since you already have a second trip planned later in the year? That would have park hopping privileges in it anyway.
