Reimagine the Top of the World lounge

Question- do you have to be staying at Bay Lake in order to enter the Lounge or can you stay at any DVC resort? In previous years, all we did was showed the blue card and was fine. I would love to go see the fireworks from there again.

Prior to the closure, it was open to all DVC staying on property. Last year, when it opened for July 4th, and for NYE, it was only for BLT guests.

At this point, we do not know what the new rules will be and who will b eligible to go up, or any other rules.

Thank you! We tried asking at our resort and they looked at us like we had 3 heads and hadn't heard of the Top of the World Lounge.

Different strokes I guess. I think the fireworks from the TOTWL are, well, not great.
Very overrated.
Agree, although I did enjoy it better than jostling for a spot on Main Street, and having some guy lift his kid on his shoulders in front of me at the last minute. I also enjoyed it for more than fireworks, like a glass of wine and a snack afterwards.

I don’t like the idea of paying $100 or more and then having access to TOTW and some other unnamed “perks.” That idea is being tossed around.

I really hope that is not what DVC has in mind.

I think it was Ken Potrock who thought there should be “tiers” of membership and folks with 1000 points or more were invited to a presentation on one of the DVC MC. That never happened, and as someone in that category, I wish we had a “perk” to have more than two waitlists!
