My family of 9 will be checking into Hyatt Regency Cypress Orland on 12/29/19. We are first time grandparents to 3 new grandchildren aged 3, 6 & 7. We are meeting for the first time on this trip and I was hoping to maybe have a tree in one or both of the rooms for their presents from us. We arrive on 12/29.

Why not just pack a small tabletop one with some special/ personalized ornaments for the girls and decorate it simply? What a lovely way to perhaps start a tradition of one ornament per child.. this year a simple Disney one with a name on it. Next year.. something to reflect a special “ something” for the child... did they start an instrument? Etc

Have a beautiful time making memories with your New Grandchildren. Enjoy!

What a sweet idea!!!

We were on a Christmas cruise last year & at sea on Christmas day. We decorated the door exterior with red glittery stockings with each persons (party of 10) name. We also strung lights in the cabins. Wall decor & lights and maybe some garland (draw a tree on the wall) will be so much less space. Are you driving in? i.e. more space, Or flying in? i.e. limited luggage space. I guess I wouldn't just hang my hopes on a tree being the make it or break it item to make it feel like Christmas...be creative...much more fun...and more memories. Just create a memory you can look back on with these kids and say "remember our first Christmas together when..." Maybe plan a craft that ultimately becomes the room decor.

Here's a door pic I took on the cruise, another idea to make personalized mickey ears to decorate with.

This is obviously something you should contact the concierge at the Hyatt about, and see what they can do.
