Rehitching Ceremony at Garden Grill

Can someone tell me about the Rehitching Ceremony at the Garden Grill?

we have done the rehitchin' ceremony twice; it is a lot of fun! the waiter person is the preacher and sometimes mickey and minnie are the attendants. we have never had them. last year our sons were attendants. they were at the time 21 and 26. the preacher will ask you do you take....and do you take.....and then the best part. you kiss to the count of 100. you know like this 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100!! you get a really cute marriage liscense signed by mickey and minnie. one time we got a yummy chocolate chip mickey shaped cake, but not last year. go for it!! you will be glad you did.

Ohh I need to know more! Do you have a link describing this. How do you get them to do it? I would love to surprise DH with this!

Do you request this when making PS or at the door when you arrive. I think we are having dinner there and I would like to surprise my hubby and sons.

When I called to make the PS today, the woman who took the reservation had no clue what I meant.

Once again, we will be celebrating our anniversary in WDW. I think the Rehitching Ceremony sounds like fun. Can you do this at lunch and how do you make arrangements?

Call and make a PS with Disney Dining. 99 times out of 100, the CM taking the reservation will have NO CLUE what you are talking about. That's OK! Ask them to note on your PS "Rehitching Ceremony" or better yet "Wants to do Rehitching Ceremony." The CM doing the reservation can make all kinds of notes, so be sure to ask for that.

When you arrive and check-in, TELL the CM on duty that you want to do the Rehitching Ceremony. Sometimes the CM may not notice the note and on rare occasions, the note was not there. The CM on duty will wrtie this on your card. When I did this, I watched the CM write it on the card -- just to be sure.
