Rehearsal dinner question...

My MIL and FIL are going to take care of the rehearsal dinner but they don't want a catered one. They would like to go to one of the restaurants in the resort area. There's about 60 - 70 guests. Is there absolutely anywhere any of you could recommend?

You may have a hard time finding a location at one of the restaurants for a party that size. You could check some of the places with private rooms, maybe the California Grill or Narcoosees

By "not catered" do you mean that it's not a special event in a convention center, or do you mean they don't want to have a private event in one of the restaurants?

Because for a group that size, even places that can accomodate it, like bluezoo at the Dolphin or Wolfgang Puck or Fulton's at Downtown Disney, will make you order off a special menu and treat it as private function rather than pushing tables together in the main dining room and giving everyone separate checks...

We did rehearsal dinner at Ohana with around 45 people. It was great. Not sure how many more you can do there.
