Regular rate or AAA discount?

Hello everyone,

I just booked a room at CBR for the first week in April. The quote they gave me was $942.15 (tax included) for a standard room, 5 nights. Does this sound like the regular rate or AAA discount rate?

That works out to be $188.43 a night...did you ask for the AAA rate, cause i think you got a rack rate...

Thats not really a great rate... Phone them back and ask for an AAA rate! Have a great vacation!

That is the rack rate price of $169 a night plus tax. If you can get the AAA room only rate, it would be about $143 a night plus tax....

That is most definitely rack rate. I am fortunate enough to have received an email pin for a discount in May/June and booked today. I booked POFQ, but was offered water view CBR for $94 a night. I would absolutely call them back and ask for the AAA rate or if there's a better discount available. Depends on the CM that's for sure. Mine asked me if I was "shopping" or "booking" before she was nice and helpful and then became even more helpful as she discovered that I knew my stuff (thanks to the DIS, of course!)
