Regular Happily Ever After vs MVMCP show

We're planning to attend a MVMCP in early December. Is there anything particularly special or different about the regular Happily Ever After show that we should see that one as well? Will we be missing out if we just see the MVCMP show?

Thank you Robo! Will work on the planning some more. Disney just needs to release the rest of the schedule!!! Trying to coordinate Rivers of Light, Fantasmic, Illuminations FEA Dessert Party, and the MK shows. My head is spinning. Ahhh!
