regrets

Yes. I regret not trying to find a great hiding place so I wouldn't have to get off the ship! ;)

I regret not taking more time to enjoy the ship. The 4-day is entirely too busy if you don't have a day at sea.

I have a small regret that we didn't try Palo before cruise #5.

I also have a small regret that we never did go to the Rainforest room like we had planned.

Each is small enough not to ruin the vacation, but definately things to look forward to on our next!

I have been having a laugh over on our cruise meet thread with the other DISsers. After reading this board and chatting with others, I don't think I was on the same cruise!

So - regrets - I should have done my homework before I went - I would have been able to make suggestions of activities that would have appealed to my family of 4 (instead of group of 16 from 2-75) - I would have insisted on going to the shows - whether others went or not.

Anyway - my BIGest non-regret is that I realized I could have had a MUCH better time - and am going back for 7 days to get it right!

On our first cruise I regret trying to do EVERYTHING because I thought we would never be back! HA! Now we go with the idea of trying to do something 'new' each time, but we don't push it. We just go and enjoy!

My biggest regret was booking the 4 day istead of the 7...it was SO short that we didn't really have time to enjoy just being on the ship. Never ever would I do the 3 day, by the time you settle in its time to leave LOL!

PALO'S we were too busy to do palo's. we will have time on a 7 day unlike a 3 or 4 day

Regret not going to high tea-- the person in front of me got the last reservation. Also regret not skipping out on Lumiere's regular menu night for Palo.

Hopefully we'll have no regrets this time around. Well, besides not being able to reboard immediately.

Julie

I regret not doing high tea, and also not doing an excursion on our last cruise.

We regretted not doing the 7 night instead of the 4 night - just seemed too rushed. We also regretted not doing Palo or getting a massage. All of these will be remedied on our next cruise. - Mike

My regrets: quarreling with my husband a couple of times over stupid things, not getting to the tropical deck party, and not getting to the adult beach. All things we intend to remedy on cruise #3 in July.

yes booking a 3 day instaed of a 7 day cruise on 3day youjust get used to the ship and the enjoyment of everything and finding your way and your back port it seems book a 7 day

I regret not trying out the adult pool and hot tubs. I also regret not making it to Palo's. We were only on the 4-day Wonder so I guess another regret is not going 7 days!!! There's always a next time....soon I hope.

First DCL - not doing Palo brunch (didn't discover how wonderful it was until 2nd cruise!)

Second DCL - not ordering from room service (didn't know about cheese trays and all the other goodies available until these boards; also, not knowing about these boards until a few months ago!

Regret - not rebooking while on the ship, and then transfering the reservation when my dates become available.

Hey Mike, I agree! The moment we unpacked we all knew 4 days were not going to be enough.... I knew we would rebook and take a 7 day immediately after I laid my head on my pillow.

Off Topic: Mike: what wild weather is this we are having? Typical So. Cal. We were at the beach on Sunday and Monday - 85 degrees - working on the tan - and tonight we had thunder storms! 35 more days!

I regret not ever stepping foot in the spa, the Goofy Pool, Quiet Cove, Studio Sea and the movie theatre. Just not enough time!

I regret not doing Palo, but we were only on the 4 night and I wanted to check out all the rotation restaurants--I plan on doing the brunch this time. I also should have gone to the adult pool the day DH fell asleep after our massage watching TV in the cabin! It is nice to have movies on TV all day but come on, we were on a cruise!!
