Registration Question

sorry for dumb question but my friend and I registered for 5K and new 10K during the 2014 Marathon Weekend. However, with the new Princess 10K and coast to coast medal we would prefer to run those races. Someone at Run Disney says we can't transfer our registrations but I thought that was possible? Has anyone ever done that and if so, how? Thanks for the help!

You can defer registration to the following year but you cannot transfer race to race

You'd have to defer your marathon weekend races to a future race. I suspect it would need to be a 2015 race, you wouldn't be able to defer to the 2014 Princess races. There are additional fees involved when deferring.

Also be advised the C2C Medal is only for 1/2 Marathons and above so doing the 10Ks wouldnt count-

You can defer into the same year, it actually has to be within one year or to the same race the following year and not sold out. So for the 2014 marathon weekend races you can defer to: Tink, PHM, Everest, ToT, DL, W&D, 2015 WDWM. The kicker is from what I understand you can't defer 5k races and I am not sure about the 10ks. For the others the new race must cost more than the current race you are entered into or you lose the difference. Also, I am pretty sure you can't combine two entry fees to get one entry fee covered.
And as pp stated, C2C is for 1/2 marathon distance and above only and the new C2C is only for the women's centered races.
