Registration for Merry Mixer?

i have been away on a great 4 night DCL cruise. My cousin just mentioned I should watch DVC website because a CM said we should be registering for Merry Mixers soon. True?

I don't remember registering before and they don't check you off of a list.

Maybe the CM meant they'd be announcing time/location soon. I hope they don't start requiring advance registration - checking everyone in at the entrance would take forever!

Looks like they're going to be on Friday afternoons this year. The last couple of years were so crowded and we spent most of the time standing in various lines, so not sure we'll try too hard to make one this year!

Holiday drink and treat, a chance to win a door prize, and a holiday ornament will get me in the door. If the lines for pictures, or even a seat to watch the dancers look doable, we'll stay longer.
