Registration Accepted!

Wow, VMK is really quick with the response! I'm impressed. I registered my team around 11:45 pm PST last night and they sent me a message today at 3:33pm: "Your registration for the Team Competition has been accepted."

So for those of you anxiously waiting still, it might be tonight or tomorrow, but it looks like it'll be soon! Good luck!

btw, my email states that the "Judging will take place between the following times:

* Friday February 24, 2:30 - 8:30pm Pacific
* Saturday February 25, 8:30am -7:30pm Pacific
* Sunday February 26, 8:30am - 7:30pm Pacific"

So, looks like we have 7 months to finish our rides! (Dont we wish....)

at Everest room walls and griping about how all the Bat Magic For Trade
rooms were keeping people away from our rides.

My team lucked out and got seen the first night, but then again, I don't think that was really lucky because our ride was seen so early that they forgot about us by the time the judging decisions were made.

Ah, the age old question when auditioning / interviewing:

Do I want to be first to set the bar? OR
Do I want to be last so they remember me most?

Who knows which is best?

I would actually rather be judged either in the middle or a little before last, because if you're first and I was a judge I would be looking at what ride is going to beat the first one you saw and so on. (But That Is Not What They Do For This )

If I recall correctly, Team Magical Yeti Path (aka: Zetas) were judged if not last, next to dead last.

I remember that weekend vividly -- Are they here yet? no. Have they been here? no. Think they forgot us? I hope not.

It was stressful to say the least. Too bad they can't give us at least the "day" on which we'd be judged so we don't spend all weekend paranoid they'll forget us.

Yeah that would be a great idea! With only 200 teams and they have 4 HOST_'s now. They could split up the 200 teams into certain days and split up the HOST_'s to judge a group a teams. If you ask me it would probably be easier for the Teams, Host's, and everybody else!
