registering kids for kids clubs

We are doing the land/sea and staying at POFQ. I understand that we will check in at the hotel and not have to wait in line at port, but what about the kids clubs? I read that now you sign up before you board, so will we still have to wait in line or can we do this on the ship? and can we get to port closer to 12 and just get on the ship or so we still need to get there earlier? I want to spend as much time at the parks as possible.

Your kids have a spot in the clubs, so you can wait until you're on board to register them. They can't go into the club/lab until you register, but the club doesn't open until something like 7:00 the first evening anyway.

The only thing you might miss with getting to the port later is a spot at Palo. The registration for that fills up pretty early on the 3-4 day cruises.
