Regarding Waitlist

Will be at OKW from 12-24 thru 12-31. We are paying AP rate for 2-Bedroom on 12-24 and 12-25; we have a 1-bedroom from the 26th thru departure, however, one of my DD decided about a month ago that she will join us (DD#1 and DSIL will also be with us). We have been waitlising for a 2-bedroom for about a month now and nothing has come up. My question, have any of you had any last minute pixie dust on your waitlist request coming thru and how last minute was it?

Don't know if you're aware of this or not, but after 30 days, the original waitlist is completely eliminated. If you haven't already, call DVC immediately and get on the new waitlist. Hopefully you'll be one of the only ones, and will have a high chance of getting your room.

At 7 days out the waitlist is completely eliminated. You can still call daily (or multiple times per day) and book a vacant room if there is a last minute cancellation.
