hello, I am a non member interested in renting points for a march or april get away, If are party is larger than 4 in a studio will we have problems navigating the park via boats or shuttles??? I am not sure how this works, upon arrival, are you designated a limited number of transportation passes
thanks

Hi,I don't know anything about having more than 4 in a studio, but I do know about Disney transportation. It's free, and you just show up and get on,and go wherever you want throughout the parks. It stops at all resorts,Downtown Disney, and all 4 theme parks. The transportation buses, boats, monorail, are all very efficient, and we've never had any trouble getting around at all.
Good luck with your 1st Disney vacation! :grouphug:

The occupancy of a studio is 4 plus one under the age of 3. If your fifth person is under the age of three, you will not have a problem. If your fifth person is three or older, you will need a larger villa.

This is not an occupancy question, so let's not go there. It's a transportation question.

The "rule" is that to use Disney transportation, you have to be staying in a Disney resort. They have the "right" to ask to see your room key, as proof that you are a resort guest.

That being said, I have never, in 13+ years of going to WDW on a fairly regular (at least 2x/year, and sometimes more often, and at all different times) basis, had a bus driver ask to see my room key prior to allowing me to board the bus.

About the only times they have ever required room keys to use the transportation is during the very busiest of times such as Christmas/New Years or Spring Break, but even here I don't remember being asked during these periods the last few years. I know I was asked in the past, but whether that was just 5 years ago, or 10 years ago, I don't recall. However this last Christmas when we checked in the CM insisted we all had room keys for ID in case the bus driver needed to check. (None ever did)

I did hear that when SSR opened they started having a problem with guests from the Wyndham walking over to use the SSR busses and they stopped that (but don't know if they were using room ID's or not to veryify guests)
