When I first read about this, yesterday, I just could not believe it. I thought there must surely have been some misunderstanding. Perhaps a glitch in the board. It appears, now, this was not the case. I can't describe how sad the whole thing makes me feel.
My post count isn't very high, but I came to these boards -- what? -- about five years ago? And, CathyCanada was one of the first people I remember "seeing." In the years since, she has seemed to be the voice of reason many times. It has been she -- over the years -- who has stepped into difficult situations and made them better.
I respect that this is your board, Pete, and we are all guests in your "home." I cannot imagine, though, the Cathy I 'know' having done something so terrible that she deserved to be banned.
My heart goes out to Cathy and to Michelle. They put so much time and effort into these boards. I can't imagine what they must be feeling right now.
