? regarding canceling reservation/borrowed points

Good morning!

We made a reservation at 11 mo. for our home resort in mid October. Just found out our daughter is expecting our 2nd grandchild around the same time and she will need my assistance with her active 3 yr old.

Our reservation was made with points borrowed from 2016. The use year is August. I need clarification-if I were to cancel this reservation, would these points stay in my 2015 use year (meaning Aug. 2015 until July 2016?).
Of course I guess my other option is to take the active 3 yr old with us

Borrowing is a final transaction so once you do it, they stay in the UY that you would have traveled.

I guess the good news is that you will have a lot of time to maybe book another trip!

Thanks so much for the congrats! We are pretty excited (and still a little bit in shock!) We will probably reschedule for sometime in the Spring.
