Regal Sun Resort

Myself, My DH, DM, DD, and two friends are planning a weekend trip to Disney World in September. We are only staying three days and normally stay on property. Since we are planning a longer trip next May we were thinking about staying at the Regal Sun Resort. I know it is not a Disney Hotel, but it says it is part of the Disney Resorts now. Can anyone provide me information on this place? I was wondering if it is worth our money and time to stay here or if we would be better staying on property. They have their own bus system, but I am not sure how it works. Thanks for all you help!

Be advised that the Regal Sun does not get EMH. The only DTD hotel that has that advantage is the DTD Hilton.

The Regal Sun shares busses with the other DTD hotels, so the bus will stop at the other hotels to/from the parks. These busses also go to the parkes only and will not go to other resorts. They run about every half hour.

DTD is a short walk across the street, so you could also take Disney transportation from there.
