Can anyone tell me about regal sun resort. Would you recomend staying there? Does it have a restort feal to it? I'm going to Disney for two weeks. I'm thinking about trying somthing new for the second week. Thanks

I just styaed there just over a month or so ago. Only did 2 days so i didn't really experience the entire place but I did like it overall. Pool area was great for the kids but I didn't try any of the food. Be aware of the resort fees they charge. I was lucky to have those included on my ressie.

We were just there over Spring break and it was a last minute trip. And by last minute I mean, we decided on the Sunday evening to get up on the Monday morning and drive there from Toronto LOL. Anyway, I had a couple of hours to get everything planned and got the Regal Sun for $85.00 a night. I spoke to a couple at one of the parks who paid over $200.00 :scared1:
For what we paid I was happy with the resort. It has a beautiful lobby. Great pool area, they have tennis courts, a game room, etc. However, the rooms are quite small. If it is just a place to sleep, then its fine which is all we wanted it for. There is a fridge in your room. Downtown Disney is no more than a five minute walk, it is pretty much right across the street and there is a free shuttle to the parks.
Also, if you're considering staying there, Travelzoo has a special right now for $85.00 a night and are waiving the resort fee.

Have you got a link to that deal by any chance? I can't find it. Thanks!

Can you tell me if this resort is close to Seaworld?

Thank You

Merci

Not close to Sea World. Right across street from DTD. Great location, nice lobby/pool. Great for kids, BUT the rooms themselves (the ones we had anyway in the garden wing) were old and not so great. They were 'adequate'. Upgraded vanity/shower curtain, etc., but the tubs are old and the carpeting was old. Not dirty, but old. We probably won't stay there again, personal preference. We stayed one nite prior to checking in to SSR in January. Hope this helps. And we were charged the fee even though our ressie included it and we had to go to front desk to have it removed. Watch your bill! We also received a 2nd nite fee for one room and discovered it on our credit card bill. They did remove it though after we called.

I just booked a disney view tower room for $85 a nite hotels.com for our travel night the Wed. before Thanksgiving. For what I have read on tripadvisor the tower rooms are much nicer and it was only a $10 difference form the poolside rooms. I was definitely willing to pay an extra 10 bucks to have a nicer room on an inside corridor rather than the motel type rooms by the pool.
