Regal Sun or Royal Plaza?

Last year we drove down and stayed for one night at Buena Vista Palace before checking into BC and it was great!

This year the price is much higher at Buena Vista Palace but we can get a really good rate for the one night at either Royal Plaza or Regal Sun.

Has anyone stayed at either/both of these resorts? Can you tell me your experiences?

I've stayed at Regal Sun twice, and Royal Plaza once. They were both fine, but I'd go for Regal Sun. It's closer to DTD. My card details were stolen when I was in Royal Plaza so that puts me off staying there again.

If you can afford the extra $$ I would definitely book a tower room at either resort. Both resorts have "wing" rooms but the tower rooms are much nicer and have newer furnishings.

Yes, we booked a Disney view tower room at Regal Sun. With tax and the resort fees it was only $113!
