Regal Palms

Any recent experiences at this resort? From online reviews, it appears that it's further out and the units are hit and miss in quality depending on the owner (perhaps true of most similar resorts areas). Some reviews seem to indicate that the common areas are a bit rundown and perhaps the overall "resort" is a bit under-maintained.

If anyone's stayed their recently and could share experienced, I would be most appreciative. Also interested in approximate time to Disney (Epcot/DHS/AK in particular) and what traffic is like on the drive to/from.

Not a bad area to stay in ........ shops & a few eating places within 1/2 mile ...... good walking area.

Out onto Hwy 27 .... Turn LEFT ... & within 2 miles you join Hwy 192 going East ( Follow Disney Signs )

You will pass many eating places just as you go under Bridge ... Longhorn steakhouse , Olive Garden , Texas Roadhouse, Etc.

All at a price better than eating at Disney Area.

Drive from R. Palms to A.K. is about 15 min.

Drive out of R.Palms onto Hwy 27 TURN RIGHT ......... Drive for about 5 miles & TURN Left to join Hwy I-4 to Disney

Again there are eating places on this route Cracker Barell & Dennys etc.

About a 25 min drive
