Regal Palms Resort ?

Hello everyone! First time posting here...but have lurked for over a year!

We have been to Disney twice in the past 2 years and both times stayed at Orange Lake Resort with friends.

We are considering going back this march and were looking at hotels. I came across a GREAT deal at the Regal Palms Resort and was wondering if anyone could give me any info on their stay there. It looks like a great place!

We LOVED it last January and booked our 2006 stay with the same private owner!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom 3 bath townhome and it was perfectly clean, quiet and fabulous! We LOVED the pool, waterslide ( my 5 year old 45" daughter said this was her favorite part) and the lazy river was so much fun! Our particular townhome was very close to the pool area.

Some reviewers on tripadvisor.com negatively commented on the staff at the Regal Palms. We had no problems at all with the staff they we very professional and helpful. There was trash pickup each day, we collected the trash and left it outside by the front door each morning and they took it away and left a new trash bag!

We had lunch twice at the clubhouse bar and grill, trying out the turkey wrap, blue cheese hamburger, turkey club, fish and chips, hot dog, and the nachos. All were good, not overly fantastic but good decent food, prices were reasonable.

I have recommended the Regal Palms to lots of friends and others on this board and others. I have haven't heard a bad story about a Private rental but I have heard bad stories about renting through the management company and hotelkingdom for instance.
