We got a 3 bedroom directly across from the pool area with a balcony for a great price!!! Has anyone stayed here and what is WDW parks like the 3rd week (just before Memorial day)? Are they busy yet? Just trying to get a good idea of what to expect!! Thanks

We were trying to decide betwen Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms and Regal Palms but decided on Regal due to the sports bar and food onsite!!

Hope we made the right choice...we have a 17 and 10 year old! Needing a vacation for sure!!:dance3:

Just curious about Regal Palms and WDW at the end of May!!! Also curious about the Resort itself. I have already booked it so can't change my mind..just want to put my mind at ease .... can't believe only responses on here are for Windsor Hills.... Why?

I just posted a thread about regal palms because I couldn't find anything either - I guess great minds think alike;) .

We're going in August (I think I might have posted that it was sept. - oh well -maybe not such a great mind after all:) )

If you could let me know how your stay was after you get back, I'd really appreciate it.

:thanks:

We stayed at Regal Palms a year ago. We would stay there again if the price was right. We got a 4 bedroom townhouse for $600 including taxes at that time. They have since added a $10/night resort fee. The lady I rented from has increased the cost of her condo to over $700 a night and I am not sure I want to pay close to $900. Sounds like you got a good location. Some of the villas are pretty far from the club house, and I would definitely want something close. We loved the pool area. We spent 4 out of 6 days there on our trip and only did Disney two days. The slide is smallish, but perfect for our kids who are under 10. My then two year old also had a ball on it. The pool area could get pretty crowded, so you may want to get there early to get chairs. The lazy river was fun, but not huge. We bought tubes at the Wal Mart that is about 2 miles north on 27. I recommend putting your name or tying a ribbon to them though because one of ours got taken - probably by accident as there were quite a few other people with the same tubes. There were suppose to be pool towels as the pool each day, but we would have to wait for them because they were short of help and they were waiting for them from the laundry service. My mom and dad ordered food and a drink at the pool one day and they enjoyed it and the price wasn't too bad. There was not always someone taking orders around the pool though, again, I think they were short of help. It says no outside food around the pool, but everyone brought stuff in. Down the road from Regal Palms is a Publix, Chinese food, and pizza restaurant. There is also an Applebees. As for the townhouse, we were pleased with it overall. The furnishings are pretty basic and not as upscale as some of the other places we have stayed, but certainly adequate. The townhouse we stayed in only had two TVs. If we were to stay again, we would look for a place with TVs in each bedroom and the living room.
Good luck with your trip. If you have more questions let me know.

We've stayed here too and the previous post says it all really. I would stay here again. My DS and DH loved the pool area.

The only reason I am not staying there this time around, is that we are lucky enough to be staying on-site for the very first time with free dinning plan.

If you need a reputable villa owner, I am happy to send you a link. I have no connection with him whatsoever, except for the fact that I rented from him.

Also have a look at the reviews on trip advisor, mine is on there for October 2007.

Thanks, I appreciate the input...will put a review on here when I get back as well!!! I am very excited!!!:yay:
