Hi - Does anyone have good recommendation for booking at Regal Palms Resort (either US or UK agents/ owners) ? We want to book 10 days from 16th Feb 2006. Also is the accommodation better and/or cheaper through an agent or through a private owner ? :confused3
Third time back to Disney and this year and we are finishing with a Disney Cruise but .....don't tell the kids !!! its going to be a big surprise :teeth: - can't wait to see their little faces !!!!! :cloud9: :love1:

At the moment I'd say an agent! :flower:
Try www.bookit.com, or even the regal palms official site.
They have offers on at the moment ($109/night) for a 3 bedroomed townhouse. $99 if you have AAA discount.
:cheer2:

We stayed at Regal Palms earlier this year and had a good experience. We rented directly from an owner and he was great to communicate with; we were very pleased. I found him on vrbo.com, but here's his direct listing:

It looks like he has your dates available also.

Thanks for your links everyone (keep em coming please) :bounce:

I'm going to start checking them out.

Im sooooooooooooooooo excited

Thanks once again

Judy :wave2:

How was the commute to Disney from RP?

The commute depends on traffic. In our experience it took anywhere from 15-30 minutes. We didn't mind it at all.

Same travel time here...we went in late Jan/early Feb and on average 20min. Not bad at all! :goodvibes

We're thinking about renting a 4 bdrm town house for a short stay. I wanted to know how long the commute was to universal?

We stayed at the Regal Palms in Jan 05, we never visited Universal Studios, but we did visit SeaWorld and it took us probably 30 min there! But we definately did not go the right way...we traveled up to RT 192 then across all that traffic until we hit interstate 4, right after the Disney World entrance. Next time instead we would turn right onto Rt 27, travel 3 miles and hit Interstate 4 directly without all that traffic! :teeth:
