We are planning a short trip to Disneyland in March of 2003. I noticed on the Disney site that Splash Mountain and King Arthur's Carrousel are both being refurbished THIS year at this time. Does anyone know if reburishment follows any set pattern during the year ( will these attractions likely be closed this time next year as well)? My 2 y/o LOVES the carrousel, and would be very upset to miss it. Thanks for any info you might have.

We were there mar. 9th. Space mountain, splash mountain, carasel, pirates of the caribean, of course rocket pods, and most shops in french quarter were all closed. Plus I had to pay $25 because it was a blockout day with my annual pass. I thought it was a major rip-off.

It is very unusual for this many attractions to be down for refurbishment at one time. My guess is that next year in March there will be fewer attractions down. Years of neglect have taken their toll and Disney management obviously felt that DCA would be such a huge hit that they could close many DL attractions and no one would notice!

Another case of management being clueless
