Refurbishment of POTC

I know that this information has to be here but I haven't spent much time on Disboards in the last couple years and my laptop is *this* close to dying and I think a combination of the two is making me unable to search effectively.

My friend just told me yesterday that she has a trip to DL for October 5th-7th. I looked on the DL site and saw that POTC and Tarazan is closed for refurbishment. Does anyone have any idea as to whether or not it will be opened by October 5th?

Make sure when looking at the calendar, you look at single days and not 5-days when checking closures. If an attraction is closed for 1 of those 5 days, it will show closed for the whole time.

But if you look at single days, you can get better info. POTC is shown as re-opening 9/30 and Tarzan on 10/3.

Thank you! I need to brush up on this. I just booked our hotel for our own trip for January 2017. Not sure why my signature says I am going in two months. I wish I was! Thanks again and that is great news! This is their sons' first trip to Disneyland and the family has had a tough six years. I can't wait for them!
