Hi--I saw the notice about a refurbishment at BWV. I plan on spending some time in my room just chilling, reading, etc. Does anyone know what area this refurbishment affects? I am thinking of booking the one bedroom suite. TIA.

When are you going?

From what I've read, all the boardwalk views are done. They have also done the 4th and 5th floors of the other side.

I was wondering the same thing. This notice caused me some alarm:
Parking Advisory
Due to limited parking availability, we highly recommend that all Disney Resort hotel Guests take advantage of our complimentary transportation options. For Guests arriving in their own vehicles, please be advised that self-parking may not be available—valet parking may be the only option. For Guests traveling to Epcot, please utilize the Epcot Guest Parking Lot.

From what has been posted on the DVC board, hotel guests have not had a problem getting a space. The problem with boardwalk parking is people park there and then go to Epcot, either for the convenience or getting around paying for parking.

Well, I would hope that resort guests wouldn't have a problem finding enough parking.

We stayed in a 2nd floor room canal view in June that was completed, the lowest numbered rooms (section closest to Jelly rolls) on all floors were complete then and they had the next section blocked off from top to bottom to work on it. I'd imagine they must be pretty far along 6 months later.

I guess I should have worded it better, it's the standard view side that still needs finished on the lower floors.

I was there for 10 days in September, in a renovated room (very nice!). I did not hear any construction noise at all. I was also concerned about parking, but I didn't have any issues while I was there. I was in a studio instead of a 1br, but I really liked the new look and the new furnishings.

Any room pictures you can post?
