Refurb rooms at Vistana VILLAGES?

We stayed at VV back when, I think, there was only what they now call the "Bella Florida" section. (I can' remember the year, but based on my oldest's age, I think it was perhaps 7 years ago?) I really like the location of that section's buildings that are across the bridges from the large waterfall pool...close to it, but seperated by the "lakes" to keep some of the noise factor down.
Does anyone know if this section "Bella Florida" has had any refurb in the last few years? If not, can anyone suggest a newer/updated section/buildings that would be convenient to the large waterfall pool without being right on top of it?

Jill, I was over there this week and toured several villas. they are absolutely beautiful. We were in the St Augustine Village area. The new water features in the pool that just opened in Feburary are great. It has a pirate ship with a slide. There are also several private areas to grill out and a cool playground. I really liked this area because it was away from the main busier sections, yet, close enough to walk over for activities or dining.

I stayed in the Bella Florida section most recently in Oct '09. It was not renovated at that time. Example: it "still" had tube TVs. But the rooms were in very good condition -- they have been maintained over the years. Maybe a few nicks in the floor moldings but the carpet and the tile was still in great shape. The owners association had replaced the VCRs with DVD players since 2006. I would expect them to replace things like mattresses, furniture, and appliances as they wear out, but the wholesale refurbishment as done at the oldest sections of the Vistana Resort probably won't happen for quite a while.
