I am sailing in about six days, and I have three Disney Gift Cards worth $500 each that I am going to apply to my onboard folio. The $1500 should cover my shore excursions and my tips. If it turns out that I have credit left over at the end of the cruise, can I tell Guest Services which gift card to credit back to?

For example, the last four digits on one of the gift cards, coincidentally, happen to be my birthdate (MM/DD). Can I tell GS to credit back specifically to that card?

As far as I know, if a refund is due to Disney gift cards, and there were multiple cards used, they refund the money in reverse order that the cards were applied to the account.

If you want a specific one to be the first one credited back, hand it over last to be applied to the account.

Have you considered combining two of them so that you have fewer cards to deal with? One card can have a value up to $1000. I have a primary card that I use to combine whenever we get any smaller card denominations. After your cruise, if there is a refund amount, even if they put it back on to the “wrong card“ you can still transfer it to the one you consider to be your primary. https://disneygiftcard.com/

I did ask guest services once to do this and they accommodated me. If I remember correctly, I went to guest services before the last day with the card I wanted credited. I did hold on to all the cards, just incase they did not put it on the one I wanted. Originally put 10+ gc on acct. I have found that GS is not as busy as it use to be, maybe b/c of the app.

I did think of that. I guess I have the issue whether I'm using two cards or three. But based on @allashore's response, I can get it done. 👍

Register all of the cards and even if it ends up on the wrong one you can move it around.

So I’ve done this before. In summary, hang on to all the gift cards and if any credit needs to be applied, then you’ll have them all available so you can locate the correct card they’ll apply it to. I believe the earlier response is correct, the last card provided is the last used so credit will likely go on that one.
