Refund Status--What does this mean?

I filed my taxes via TurboTax Sunday. Today I checked my refund status and it said:

Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct depositied on Feb 1, 2010.

I thought the IRS did deposits on Friday? So can I expect the deposit this Friday or next Friday?

we did ours Sunday also. I will have to check the staus. I thought refunds were done only on Friday!

I filed mine on Friday too and looked at the IRS website and said it is suppose to be deposited on this Friday!

Usually they do the deposits on Fridays, however they tell you that it could take an additional 24-48 hours to show up in your account.

So if I also filed through turbotax on Sunday, but mine is still showing as being processed on the where's my refund site, should I be concerned? I've never used turbotax before. Thanks.

I used Turbotax last year--they did not have to confirm my information. It seems this took a shorter time this year than last.

MIne was deposited Tuesday, and thats the day it was supposed to be deposited. It used to be that the USPS would only deliver checks on Fridays and Mondays...I don't think thats the case with DD now...

Is that a Monday? I know in the past they were Fridasy and Mondays.

It is a Monday. If it's on Monday, because my bank does not do weekend deposits, I'll see it on Saturday morning. Here's hoping--we use our refund to pay an additional month's principal on our house every year and then put the rest in the kids' college funds and send in a charitable contribution.

I always use Turbo tax and this is the first year that mine is STILL saying this the day before it's supposed to be deposited according to the IRS chart. Not sure what is going on, but I guess I won't be getting my refund tomorrow.

We received ours via Direct Deposit this morning. It is available and I just transfered it to my savings for our Disney trip.
I filed online with Turbo Tax on Jan 15th.
