Refund after paying with a gift card?

If we use a gift card to book our package and I end up canceling later, will the refund be returned to the same giftcard, new gift card or send me a check?

Same gift card, so be sure to hold onto it. When you make the payment, the CM will (should) advise you to keep it until your trip in case you should need to cancel.

This . Refunds are made according to the payment type originally used. I have made payments with gift cards in the past and I keep the gift cards until my trip is over, just in case any questions/problems arise.
