Refrigerators?

I'm getting conflicting information regarding refrigerators....

AllEarsNet says they are complimentary.

The Unofficial Guide says they are $10/per night.

Anyone have a frig on a recent trip?

It depends on where you stay. The refrigerators are included with moderate, deluxe and home away from home resorts. They cost $10 + tax per day at the value resorts.

We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge (Deluxe). I guess it will be free for us there. I assume it's something you have to request and not standard in the room?

They are standard in the WL rooms! You do not have to request them!

if I may pipe in...i THINK this is right(stuff changes all the time sooo...lol) I think that now WDW has fridges for no charge in mod,home away from home and deluxe resorts.value has them for 10 charge per day maybe?at the time the book was printed(UG),,,that was diffferent,anyway...hope that helped,AND if i am wrong..someone please say so....

In 2003 we stayed at CSR and we paid 10 bucks a day for one.

If your staying in a Deluxe room they have always had the refrigerators at no additional charge. Now all the rooms have then at no charge.

DELUXE-TWO QUEEN BEDS & ONE SOFA BED (sleeps 6) The Deluxe Guest Room has a sitting area separated from the bedroom by french doors, additional television, refrigerator with ice machine, coffeemaker, and wet bar.

Does anyone know if the mini fridges have a separate smaller compartment at the top that would freeze small items, such as the ice cores you sometimes get with water bottles?

Gotta say that I don't think those frig's will get anything close to cool, let alone freeze anything, at least that's been my experience

We were at the Poly in May and although the fridges are now complimentary they do not have them in all rooms yet so you may want to call and request one just to be on the safe side. As for the freezer they have a very small freezer section at the top it's only big enough for a few Mickey's premium bars , it really tiny.

We were there a few weeks ago and yep, there were fridges. It kept things pretty cold too.

We stayed at WL at beg. of June and we didn't have a fridge in our room.

Just got back from the beach club and we had a fridge......
turned it up all the way and froze my OJ!!!

Guess it depends on where you stay

All mods and deluxes have one. If for some reason your room does not have a frig all you have to do is have housekeeping bring you one.

I stayed at CSR in 2004 and they were just getting ready to finish putting friges in all the rooms.
