Refrigerators at AKL?

Hi, I'm absolutely positive I've read the answer to this before, but I wasn't paying attention because I didn't think I would want a fridge... Now DBF says "Hey, why dontcha get us a fridge in the room?"

I've read all of www.wdwig.com and DIS's AKL info, and I can't find the answer... searched usenet... and if there was a search function here, I would have done that too.

In short... can you rent a fridge at AKL, or is it one of those "medicine only" deals?

Thanks in advance. I'm thinking that if you *could* it would have been mentioned on www.wdwig.com, but just wanted to be absolutely sure.

You can rent a fridge at any WDW resort. They are the small dorm cubes. The rent, including tax, is $10.60 per night.

I think the fridge is a waste of money. We thought we would need it for milk for the kids for breakfast and maybe a couple beers for us. Well, we could get milk almost anytime at the store off the lobby or at the snack bar. Same for beer. So I paid $10 a nite just to not have to walk down the hall. Totally not worth it.
Besides, you can hardly put anything in there at all they are so small.
